About Us
All because two people fell in love...
Mervin and Judy Hunt acquired the original farm property on Waba Road, Pakenham in 1969. While Judy worked as a school teacher and Mervin as a mechanic during the day, they cherished their time farming cattle together in their spare moments.
Their family began in 1971 with the arrival of their eldest son, Cory, followed by their second son, Chad, in 1975, completing their family. In 1983, they ventured into breeding and registering purebred Limousin cattle.
Over the years, the family enjoyed showcasing their cattle at local fairs and even traveled to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Cory and Chad also found joy participating in the local 4-H beef club. Their herd has grown to over 400 head, with approximately 175 calves born each year!
Cory, his wife Glenna, and their son Corlen, along with Chad, his wife Sarah, and their children Jake, Caleb, Wesley, Tyler, and Holly, all play vital roles in supporting the family farm.
The Hunts cultivate corn, soybeans, and hay, managing over 1000 acres of pasture and crops!
